On Thursday, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) announced she would be forming a presidential exploratory committee in June. Even though this is merely an announcement of an announcement, we’d be remiss if we discounted the possibility that the Minnesota Congresswoman could run for President.
In honor of this possibility, I compiled a list of Rep. Bachmann’s most… interesting statements from the past few years.

Very effective way to do this with a bunch of second graders, is take a picture of “Lion King” for instance, and a teacher might say, “Do you know that the music for this movie was written by a gay man?” The message is: I’m better at what I do, because I’m gay.’ [source]

I listened to this album on heavy rotation when I was 9.
Who knew it’d actually/still be relevant to my life 12 years later?

Thank God for my amazing friends.
1Seriously. I got myself into a situation today where I forgot to do something pretty important and then when I remembered, it was too late and one of my best friends literally saved the day. While I was just sitting there on the couch crying, he took the phone out of my hand and called people until the problem was solved. I am the most grateful and appreciative, words can’t even express. And I was just saying to one of my other friends today how anxious I was to move to DC and meet new people. I think this was God’s way of telling me to appreciate what I have, because He has truly put some wonderful people in my life. I love them so much.
Also, I have been the most irresponsible since I got back from Spring Break. I have got to get back on my game.

Why would you toast to these people. Don’t toast to these people. Toast to the people who are NOT assholes, scumbags, jerk offs, and douchebags.
"Do not think that love in order to be genuine has to be extraordinary. What we need is to love without getting tired. Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies."
